  1. I’ve tried a lot of these organic types of foods. When it comes to the fruits and vegetables there is not difference in taste. Same with the non produce items, the yogurt, soups, and snacks all taste the exact same, so are the nutritional facts a majority of the time. People aren’t buying for the taste of nutritional difference they’re buying for the brand and appearance of the product.

  2. Some of the brands that are organic seem very surprising to me. How can Cheetos and Chips Ahoy be organic? I feel like those foods taste so good because of all of the inorganic ingredients that are in them. I can’t imagine the organic versions of these two foods tasting nearly as good as the originals. Obviously they taste alright, someone has to be buying them to keep the products on the shelves.

  3. I can’t believe all of these companies have decided to have organic products. I mean, I understand it from the business side since consumers are purchasing it, but really? Organic Chips Ahoy? I think that this “organic” trend and fascination has gotten way out of hands.

  4. Ive also tried a lot of these newly organic foods and i actually enjoyed most of the ones ive tried. There wasnt a whole lot of difference in taste in most but you could sense it was a little off. I still dont see the point of making certain foods organic. I can see why companies would want to on a business aspect but we still have no real solid evidence that suggests organic food is that much better for you. Theres plenty of ways to eat and stay healthy without switching to organic. It all just seems a little pointless until we know for sure.

  5. I always find it so interesting that junk foods end up going organic, and that consumers then believe that the junk foods are better for them if they are organic. I guess I don’t see the point in trying to make junk foods organic!

  6. I find it very amusing that the conventional food companies have now started lines of organic foods because of some of the market is shifting that way. The organic foods still taste relatively similar to the conventional foods and still have most of the same nutritional qualities. These companies are very smart and are continuing to make a huge profit by changing their products in order to meet the consumers’ demands.
